Flat White Music is the home of musical creatives, Mark Edwards and Adele Rankin

Working together for almost 2 decades, Mark & Adele have worked professionally across a wide variety of musical genres as Songwriters, Musical Directors, Music Supervisors, Music Consultants in addition to both being skilled multi- instrumentalists and vocalists in their own right.

 

Meet Mark Edwards

As a Musical Director, Mark has worked on a number of high-profile projects in the music and entertainment industry. 

Recent credits include Musical Supervisor for the catwalk fashion shows in London, Paris and Monaco Fashion Weeks for the brands ‘Oh Polly’ & ‘Bo+Tee’.

Aladdin, Dick Whittington, Mother Goose, Beauty and the Beast, Jack and the Beanstalk, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty are among some of the pantomime soundtracks we have provided for Imagine Theatre providing both pre-recorded and live arrangements for their multiple pantomime venues across the UK under the BAFTA award winning writers Iain Lauchlan and Will Brenton who are best known for their T.V. work as writers of programmes such as Tweenies, Fun Song Factory, Boo!, BB3B and Jim Jam and Sunny.

For Gemstone records, we provided support in the production of a number of projects recording studio based albums and projects. Examples of work produced at Gemstone records include: the album A Sign of the Times by Tom Comerford, the self-titled debut album for classical girl crossover duo  `Eden’ and the original cast recording of the West End musical Always Summer.

We have also provided our services on shows and soundtracks such as Just for Joe starring Opportunity Knocks winner Brenda Cochrane with Artistes International, An Evening with Dean Park with Robert C Kelly and performances starring X-Factor stars Olly Murs, Joe McEldry and Wagner in collaboration with Events Alive. 

A selection of credits include Girls’ Night the Musical, The Blues Brothers Revival, Menopause the Musical with Cheryl Baker, In Town Tonight with Brian Conley and the late Bernie Nolan, Dirty Dusting, Mum’s the Word 2 and the Scottish Premier of the Broadway and West End comedy Defending the Caveman.

Meet Adele Rankin

First introduced to our screens in the Channel 4 Television series, “Musicality”, Adele Rankin, is without a doubt, one of the UK’s brightest theatrical performers.

Adele has many years’ experience working onstage and in the studio; and her professional credits include Principal vocalist in the National UK tour of “The Music of Mamma Mia”.  Adele also played the part of ‘Kylie Minogue’ in Europe’s Smash Hit Kylie Show… “Kylie Mania”. 

As a performer, Adele is very much in demand, being one of the most popular vocalists in modern variety theatre.  She has recently appeared on stage with a number of high profile celebrities including X-Factors ‘Olly Murs’, Brenda Cochrane at the Royal Concert Hall, Brian Conley and Bernie Nolan (In Town Tonight), Dean Park (Dean Park in Concert) and The Caledonian Tenors. Adele was also honoured to appear in the Scottish premiere of the Broadway and West End smash hit comedy Defending the Caveman.

Adele’s many pantomime credits include, Aladdin, Cinderella, Beauty & The Beast, Sleeping Beauty and Mother Goose when she has worked alongside the creators of hit children’s television programmes such as ‘The Tweenies’, ‘Jim Jam & Sunny’ and ‘Fun Song Factory’ for ‘Imagine Theatre’
